We sat for 10 minutes waiting for a server. They all passed us by. I was starting to think we were in a "no wait" zone and was about to leave. We finally get service and put in an order to an appetizer to share with 2 of our 3 kids. The older kid was smart he was out with friends. I believe we ordered a sampler and it was great. It did take a while to come out. I had time to play two rounds of Deal or No Deal on the iPhone.
Once the main meal came I think we had already sent our drinks back twice. My flat Sprite and my husband flat Coke. Even after sending it back it still was flat. Now the food was great. Very delicious. However while the food was luke warm the plates were blazing hot. They were way too hot to touch and not just the adult plates but our kid's plates as well. That really pissed me off. I was ok with my hands burning but when my kids are crying cause they burned their fingers just trying to eat...not kosher.
There was even a part of the meal where we could hear the people at the next table talk to the manager. Apparently the two ladies got their meal but the gentleman at the table's meal was wrong. They took it back but he never got a new meal. The server offered to get a new one but he told them the ladies had long since finished their mail and he just wanted to leave. The manager ended up giving him a gift card for a free meal. At least I know I wasn't the only one with a bad experience.
Happy 4th to all Americans. "Today we celebrate out Independence Day". I totally love that movie with Will Smith.
I love a man in uniform. I remember shortly after I got married I had recruiters come to our home to try and get my husband to enlist. My dream was to be an Army Wife. Well actually, I wanted to be an Air Force Wife, but a military uniform looks great no matter the division to me. Of course just a few months later September 11th happened and I was so glad that my husband hadn't enlisted like I was pushing because I'm sure he would have gone oversees and it would have killed me.
But there have been husbands and wives who have enlisted and have fought oversees. Some of them have not returned. My heart goes out to those who have lost family members that have chosen to serve our country. They were brave and should be remembered and thanked. Today we honor them. HAPPY MEMORIAL DAY.

- A mother is someone to shelter and guide us,
To love us, whatever we do,
With a warm understanding and infinite patience,
And wonderful gentleness, too.
How often a mother means swift reassurance
In soothing our small, childish fears,
How tenderly mothers watch over their children
And treasure them all through the years!
The heart of a mother is full of forgiveness
For any mistake, big or small,
And generous always in helping her family
Whose needs she has placed above all.
A mother can utter a word of compassion
And make all our cares fall away,
She can brighten a home with the sound of her laughter
And make life delightful and gay.
A mother possesses incredible wisdom
And wonderful insight and skill -
In each human heart is that one special corner
Which only a mother can fill!

I asked about the music after I was done and some other tech said:
"oh, you barely hear that over the noise."
and I go
"ah, there was no music".
He goes
"oh it doesn't help anyway."
So tell me....why ask me for a preference if you weren't gonna play anything or it don't work.
Now......My head hurts and my knee hurts. That sucks!
